This canoe trip, which requires a certain amount of fitness, offers an opportunity to explore the stunning Tornionjoki River. Depending on the water level, we will paddle upstream for approximately 4 km, passing through a beautiful stretch of waterway, including a picturesque 1 km-long channel that separates two islands. Afterwards, we'll turn downstream to the other side of the island, where we'll stop to enjoy a meal either by a campfire or a portable stove. Swimming in the Tornionjoki River is possible during the trip. Along the route, there are several large sandy beaches accessible during normal water levels. We have the freedom to paddle along the border of two countries. During the trip, we may spot traces left by beavers and, with luck, even catch a glimpse of a beaver or a sea eagle.
